Working with eBay’s strategic agency we developed a variety of content which would motivate their current buyers and sellers of the world. Focusing on the internal structure of the company at first working with employees and management we produced a variety of films. We worked on everything from initial briefings and workshops to script development and global film production, resulting in final screenings and feedback analysis. The content was driven by their call to action, to enable a community to see potential in each other and what they can achieve together. We filmed in London, San Francisco and Sydney which reinforced the diversity and global reach of this successful company.

We Are Ebay

Our brief was to create several short films. Working with Instinctif Partners on numerous occasions assisting in internal communications and customer experiences of eBay globally. Being briefed indirectly and also directly from the San Jose eBay strategic team the conversations became fulfilling collaborations.

Our solution was to develop a series of scripts that worked in conjunction with the global brand strategy. Once signed off by all parties we went to work in pre-production coordinating any location filming, staff interviews and sellers and capturing any B-roll required. Delivery requirements were constantly changing from 40ft cinema projections to triptych event visuals to internal presentations.

Our Outcome was a variety of films over a period in the lead up to the separation of Paypal and Ebay and the IPO offering of Ebay when it was split from Paypal. Positive reflection came from the CEO all the way down the chain and consequently eBay successfully moves on.

'We Are Ebay' was filmed over 3 countries in 18 locations over a two week period. Phew. It could not have been done without our international teams and the friendliness of the Ebay employees.
