What is Inflation? How does the GDP effect you? Any idea what Fiscal Vs Monetary means? This economy jargon needs to be laid out in simple terms and luckily we have done this. This educational resource will shine a light and give you a set of tools to help you get to grips with the economy, and explore the different ways it plays a part in your life.

Our brief was to create an educational resource to be used within workshops and help you sustain a basic understanding about the economy. More importantly the part you play in the economy and how it evolves around you. The activities were supplied by the Economy team working in conjunction with the RSA Economic Council.
Our Solution was to make this document accessible and functional. Partnering worksheets with engaging activities for participants. Adding humour here and there made learning easier and took the pressure of feeling like you should already know the answers. The truth is that people don't really understand the meanings behind the language or how it affects their lives. That’s why this kind of work is very important.
Our Outcome sees the toolkit being used within workshops and programs as the first step into understanding the economy around you. A diverse range of people from teenagers to 50 year olds have engaged with the toolkit learning more about their own personal economy and starting bigger conversations of how to shape our current economic climate.
